I am looking to fill a position in NY City for a Hyperion Technical Manager. Assignments include managing the requirements, design, development, configuration, and support of the Hyperion EPM product portfolio (Planning, Essbase, SmartView, Financial Reports, OBIEE).Key responsibilities --Work directly with clients and/or functional analysts to identify and analyze requirements, translate them into functional/technical/ ETL design specifications, with info on the approach, to address and resolve the business needs. Design and optimize Essbase application outlines.Functional and technical ability to properly transition from the requirements phase to the technical design, implementation and transition phases.Accountable for end2end design and development phases of projects and to adequately delegate tasks to the members of the project team.Writing and executing UAT plans based on requirements, use cases and design. People management.Make performance improvement recommendations based on current Hyperion applications and server architecture.Hyperion Essbase application design and development, focusing on ASO and BSO combination as well as partitions along with shared services. Strong functional and technical experience in Hyperion Planning and Budgeting applications.Familiar with financial and accounting processes and concepts related to budgeting, allocation, reporting and forecasting. Proficient in using Microsoft office suite products, specifically Excel.Demonstrated knowledge of both native security and shared services security. Necessary requirements/experienceA strong experience in a wide range of the Hyperion products, client/server applications, relational databases, architecting, performance tuning and testing EPM solutions.Successful experience mentoring, training and guiding junior team members7 years of Hyperion Planning/Essbase/Reports experience on versions nine and 11.xSuccessful large-scale Hyperion implementation experience on a global level with 1 or more Fortune 500 companies3-four years Project Management with Essbase/Planning2-three years experience architecting Essbase/Planning solutionsSuccessful experience leading requirements sessions and presenting design proposals to clients/users at various levels of managementStrong experience laying out FP&A industry standard frameworks with Essbase/PlanningOne or more Essbase implementationsStrong functional and technical design documentation experienceListing originally posted at http://www.jobvertise.com/job?jobid=9810831&referer=oodle
