Luxury apparel firm is seeking HR Manager to develop and administer various human resources plans and procedures for all personnel. Manage various human resources duties such as recruiting, employee relations, performance management, etc. Administer employee benefits plans such as health and welfare, Transitchek and 401(k). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Vice President as necessary.I. Assist with planning, organizing, and controlling all activities of the department; participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.II. Administer employee benefit plans: process enrollments, terminations and COBRA for medical, dental, disability and life insurance. Assist employees with claim issues through communication with reps at appropriate insurance providers.III. Implement and annually update compensation program; rewrite job descriptions as necessary; analyze compensation; monitor performance evaluation program and revise as necessary.IV. Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures.V. Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; employee relations counseling and exit interviewing; writes and places advertisements as necessary.VI. Establish and maintain department records and reports; maintain company organization charts and employee directory.VII. Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.VIII. Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned including payroll back-up for payroll coordinator.QUALIFICATIONS College degree preferredStrong organization and computer skills, including MS Office 3-5 years experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 as manager levelAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesExcellent written and
