Opportunity for career growth!!Responsibilities:- Possess and apply a thorough knowledge of collections and the ability to apply the knowledge to all aspects of patient account including insurance, billing, and collection process- High school or high school equivalent- Strong insurance company/hospital contract collections experience A MUST- Identify problem accounts and reviews accounts for possible packaging of accounts, contract discrepancies, potential problems with client and make recommendations to AR Manager on proper course of action to collect account- STRONG MICROSOFT EXCEL SKILLS REQUIREDEducation, Certifications and Experience:- Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionSkills Required:- Identify coding or billing problems fromEOBsand work to correct the errors in a time manner with audit team or client- Strong analytical and problem solving skills- Handle difficult patient calls to determine and resolve issues- Strong decision making and problem solving skills- Mail form letters to insurance companies or customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts- Practice and adhere to the â??Code of Conductâ?? philosophyJob Qualifications:- Update the account database to identify actions that have been taken on the account- Ability to multitask and set priorities- At least 3yrs of related experience- Ability to prioritize workload and flexibility to work on several projects at 1 time- Sort and file correspondence- When applicable work with patients and guarantors to secure payments on outstanding account balances- Strong organizational skills- Confer with patients by telephone in an attempt to resolve outstanding insurance claims- Monitor insurance claims by running appropriate reports and contacting insurance companies to resolve claims that are not paid in a timely manner- one to 2yrs post high school trainingIf you have hospital collections experience, please email your resume right away for immediate consideration for this great career opportunity within a financially strong, growing company!!
