Evals qual of scientific data, designs methods to validate data, & oversees qual control of data. Designs methods to collect scientific data & preps tech & analytical reports, utilizing knowl of molecular bio, DNA purification & quantification, Western Blot, PCR, Mutagenesis, sequence analysis, bacteria culture, transfection, cell culture, immunohistochemistry, enzyme activity assay, & protein quantification. Req's: Bach in Bio & 2yrs of exp in position offered. Req't of Bach in Bio & 2 yrs of exp in position offered may be satisfied w/ a Master of Science in Bio & grad-level lab coursework involving molecular bio, DNA purification & quantifica-tion, Western Blot, PCR, Mutagenesis, sequence analysis, bacteria culture, transfection, cell culture, immuno-histochemistry, enzyme activity assay, & protein quantification.
