Description:
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Senior Financial Analyst will facilitate the optimization of business performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes of IT. Responsible for actively resolving day to day business/financial needs of the department with a focus on the analysis of processes, dissecting problems and suggesting solution. Includes complex systems processes, analysis, design and simulation. Must be able to suggest plans to integrate new and existing financial processes. Possesses knowledge and experience leveraging both IT solutions and business/financial process improvements. Provides counsel and leadership on future use of improving financial processes in support of CIS project portfolio. Support project portfolio of 35 projects (15 -- twenty million annually) Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, financial management or related discipline required, Masters ideal 3-4yrs of experience managing complex financial budgets, preferably in IT and/or higher education Project management skills preferred Strong computer skills including, Reporting experience, advanced knowledge of Excel, knowledge of databases and prior experience with financial ERP systems preferred.
