A rapidly expanding San Marcos based company is currently seeking Medical Transcriptionists to join their team. To provide high quality service, extensive one-on-one training is part of the immersion into the company's culture. Qualified candidates are those that thrive in a time sensitive, process oriented work environment. The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a team environment is essential. If you feel you are qualified and are someone who is seeking a long term career, then read on!Duties include but are not limited to:•Transcribe reports from the reviewers in a prompt, professional, and efficient manner •General Typing Skills at 90wpm or more •Excellent time management skills to ensure time sensitive material is prioritized and processed•Transcribe dictations into the correct templates •Return reports in electronic form and printed case form to the medical reviewer •Recognition of grammatical inconsistencies •Identification of potential mistakes in medical terminology •Reference medical dictionaries or reviewers for clarification •Highlight omissions or mistakes in dictation, and bring them to the attention of the Transcription Supervisor •Reach and maintain an average of 160 lines per hour daily upon completion of Introductory Period •Type all cases in chronological order, the most urgent firstPreference/Requirements:•Arrive at work on time and ready to work every work day (Position is located at the company's location in San Marcos, TX) •Use transcription software provided •General Typing Skills at 90wpm•Familiarity with Microsoft Office 2003 (or more recent) •Minimum education HS diploma/GED•Support others in a team environment •Observe and respect the organizational flow of the office •Work well under a high pressure, fast paced environmentWork Schedule: Monday - FridayHours: 8am-5pmTo be considered for this position, apply online at: www.prioritypersonnel.com/.
