******************************************************************************************************************Top Tier Financial Client has openings for Data Analyst****************************************************************************************************************** Locations: Richmond, VA The job details:- Works substantially with little supervision or oversight to deliver key milestones- Generating Adhoc reports and queries.- Data set sizes are usually huge (in excess of hundreds of millions of records).- Background with most of the reporting tools.- OLAP/SQL Tools background with Unix, Teradata, SAS- SQL skill and background working in complex database environment are MUST have- Proven background to move data between production systems and across multiple platforms Job responsibilities * Good background with Financial Services clients is desired.- Proven skill to move from 1 sequential assignment to the next (workplace atmosphere and priorities can change quickly depending on business needs).- Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies. Includes ability in data quality, data organization, metadata, and data profiling.
