Sallie Mae also provides financial services to hundreds of college campuses as well as to federal and state governments.JOB DUTIES:CUSTOMER SERVICE* Provide accurate, clear, and concise responses to incoming student loan customer calls, with a focus on providing world class customer satisfaction. * Perform processing functions necessary to facilitate first call resolution.* Display a strong working knowledge of multiple loan programs and the many products offered with those programs. This includes understanding the complex rules and regulations pertaining to student loan servicing.* Counsel customers on the various repayment options and Benefit Programs available to them throughout the life cycle of the loan.* Remain flexible in shift adjustments to help department meet goals. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:* Must complete Government Contract Security Clearance process. * One year of Customer Service experience.* Must be customer focused and service oriented. * A willingness to be flexible with work hours and have excellent attendance.* High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. * Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong analytical skills. * Must learn and maintain an in-depth understanding of student loan servicing processes. * Possesses excellent PC and internet navigation skills. * Demonstrates efficient time management skills. * Demonstrates effective decision-making skills. * Spanish bilingual skills preferred.WORK SCHEDULE: * 8 week training provided; perfect attendance required. * Must be Flexible: Hiring for evening schedules within the range of 11:00 AM -- 9:00 PM, Monday -- Thursday and Friday till 8:00 PM; overtime as needed. * Monthly bonus potential.Apply at: http://www.candidatecare.com/srccsh/job.guid?_reqID=2000016484310&_cache=-6088969369513687494&x=28675Sallie Mae is a federal government contractor.
