Job Overview: New Adventure Travel Company is seeking to independently contract an eager sales driven assistant to sale sponsorships to corporate businesses.
This will be 10% commission based contract that will last for one month; Position will end March 31st; or when the last sponsorship is sold.
The gross earning potential is exactly $14,000; as there are 28 sponsorship opportunities available to be sold at $5,000 each.
Candidate will send a nightly report to the SVP of DayRay Expeditions of all calls made, appointments made, appointments set, appointments kept, and sponsorships sold.
*Candidate must have full coverage auto-insurance, life insurance, and medical* as, this position is a contracted position, where in fact you are an independent contractor not an employee of the company, and we will not be responsible for any damages; bodily, auto or to property that may occur during your business transactions.
Required Skills: Qualified candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a natural leader with persuasive personality, proficient with Microsoft word, powerpoint, and excel (all three will be used from day one), have the ability to multi-task, make sound judgemeants, be honest, ethical, and moral in all decisions and business dealings, and should at all times practice common sense.
Preferred Attributes: Preferred Candidate will have a warm prospect list and contact information for decision makers in Major Corporations; this information can be included in your resume or cover letter for consideration, but is not required. Proven Sales track record in High Volume Sales and/or Sponsorship Sales is preferred.
Also, any web-design knowledge and ability to create quality “commercial” type video segments using audio and still pictures is a plus.
As with any Sales Position it is encouraged that all those that apply have readily available a prospect list of atleast 100 contacts.
