Construction Project Manager job#cpmkev - Cleveland, Ohio Salary Range: $80,000 to $110,000+ Please email your resume to: (click to respond) Responsibilities: Project Manage engineering and construction activities for design/build projects. Help bridge the consulting firm with the affiliate construction division. While acting as the right hand go to person for the VP of Construction this person will provide project management for the consulting firm as well as the construction division to ensure standards & deadlines are met. . To ensure engineering & construction integrity for all projects. Overall Scheduling, Budget Control & Estimating of Projects. Manage engineering and design activities including specifications, design criteria and drawings to meet project requirements. Presentations / Interface with Clients Writing of contracts and negotiations with sub-contractors. Must have experience putting together bid packages that capture the sub-contractors scope of work. Requirements: BS Degree in Engineering or Construction or related field is a must PE Registration desired but not a must. Specific experience with some type of Power plant projects IS A MUST. (types of power projects are; Coal Fired, Gas Fired, Boiler Support Steel, Boiler Piping Support, Scrubbers and SCRs) Ten to fifteen years overall relevant engineering experience to work within a multi-discipline engineering team and construction division. Demonstrated Project Management skills and abilities including, but not limited to leadership, coaching / training, goal setting & performance. Demonstrated a strong background and technical knowledge for completing design/build construction projects. Candidates must have proven experience working in an engineering or construction management office managing design/build construction projects. Candidates must have a strong background with Industrial projects. Someone who has grown thru the ranks while working for a construction company. * Its ok if they have multiple industry experience but their strong suit must be in industrial/power. * This position will require about 10% local & national travel to job sites.
