The Concierge role is a critical player in the execution of marketing platforms and customer service programs. The Concierge promotes and communicates all aspects of the Company Brand - quality retail. WOW customer service, and connection with the community. Position is primarily based at the Concierge Center inside the mall, but can also include all areas of the shopping center.RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer Service and Experience- Demonstrates and deliver on the company''s WOW 7, our guiding customer service principles.- The employee is regularly required to use a computer and must possess the ability to multi-task.- The employee must be able to climb stairs.- The employee is regularly required to stand and walk up to eight hours a day.- Employee must be able to pleasantly accommodate/communicate to a broad range of clientele with varied needs.- Must be able to work in a in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism at all times.- Works with the Marketing Director to solicit and encourages retailer participation/support as an effort to promote their business and add value to overall center marketing plans.Gift Cards- While performing duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear.- Previous retail, customer service/concierge or sales experience preferred.- Supports Marketing Director on the implementation of any marketing initiative, including seasonal programs, special events, web siteand community outreach efforts.- Serve as primary resource for customers seeking info, assistance or store recommendations; develop a thorough understanding of all company services and amenities.- Establishes and develops strong relationships with center retailers.- Actively participates and successfully completes all required company training programs.- Uphold the company''s stringent operational and marketing expectations by proactively identifying and seeking resolution when standards are not compliant.- Must be flexible and able to work nights, weekends and holidays.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.- Develops and maintains thorough knowledge of center store selection, locations, merchandising, price points, special sales and events.- The employee must be able to communicate verbally in person and on the telephone.- Uphold the uniform standards as outlined in the Uniform Style Guide.- Works on special projects as requested by superiors and/or other corporate personnel, and all other duties as requested.SKILL SET/QUALIFICATIONS:- Proactively communicate and educate customers on company marketing and customer service programs.Consumer Marketing- The duties of the job include bending and stooping, up to four hours a day.- Acts as Brand Ambassador, engaging with the shopper, to help promote and activate marketing programs.Retail, Management and Sales Partners- Must demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.- Must be proficient on basic Microsoft Office platform and Internet.- Must be able to collaborate and work within a team environment.- Conduct all administrative service functions of the Concierge Center including, but not limited to: Computer/printer, Internet, UltraPoS, FAX, e-mail, and any clerical paperwork duties as assigned.- Maintain professional order and cleanliness at the Concierge Center and throughout shopping center.General- Must be proactive, approachable and solution focused.- Demonstrates a true passion for WOW customer service and proactively seeks ways to surprise and delight our customers - shoppers, retailers and Westfield team members.
