LOCATION: Florham Park, NJDESCRIPTION: Develops and administers global compensation and benefits plans for Company including base pay, short term and longterm incentive, executive compensation, employee benefits and health and welfare plans. Prepares and distributes compensation and benefits details according to regulations. Assists in global benefit presentations and training. Analyzes global Company benefits policies, laws concerning mandatory insurance coverage and data concerning prevailing practices among similar organizations in order to comply with legal qualifications and to establish competitive benefits programs.MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:1. Ensures market data and salaries are reviewed on a regular basis and updated as required to maintain internal and external equity.2. Oversees development and administration of global benefit programs to ensure timely enrollment and compliance with regulations and plan provisions.3. Timely administration of global salary adjustment and performance evaluation process.4. Ensures that all compensation related transactions are accurate and reported in a timely manner.5. Ensures job descriptions are current and available for all positions.6. Ensures that benefits census info is accurate and reported in a timely manner.7. Ensures accuracy of benefits premiums and assures that they are paid in a timely manner to avoid lapses in benefit coverage.SUPPORTED BY:Info Technology, PayrollSPECIFIC DUTIES:1. Oversees development and administration of global compensation programs including base pay, short term and long term incentive programs, sales incentive programs and executive compensation programs as applicable by country.2. Designs and manages global employee benefit programs including 401(k) plans, Provident Fund, profit sharing, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance programs, short and long term disability, life and accidental death, travel insurance, FMLA and COBRA.3. Conducts global market evaluations of existing salaries and grades to ensure internal and external equity and market competitiveness. Participates in exempt and nonexempt salary surveys to ensure compensation levels are competitive and pay philosophy is followed.4. Manages professional relationships with external consultants, insurance brokers, vendors, and auditors including contract negotiations, fee disclosure agreements, RFP’s and performance guarantees. Works on all renewal processes, plan improvements and serves as liaison between employees and 3rd party providers to resolve vendor issues and claims.5. Manages global administration of automated performance appraisal process. Establishes timeline for review completion and delivery and ensures consistency and conformance to policy.6. Organizes and Participates in Company Benefit Committee work including broker meetings, etc ……7. Conducts employee training in order to familiarize employees with Company policies and benefit programs to ensure that all eligible employees are aware of their benefit entitlements.8. Monitors effectiveness of existing compensation and benefits policies, guidelines, and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans which are cost effective and consistent with compensation and benefits trends and corporate objectives; coordinates implementation and provides guidance to corporate staff.9. Keeps apprised of country, state, and local compensation and benefits laws and regulations in order to ensure Company compliance.10. Compiles employee census data, including salary, bonus and other pay info to provide to 3rd party vendors for year-end discrimination testing, match and profit share allocation and compliance with federal reporting regulations.11. Performs additional duties and special assignments upon request.BACKGROUND: Min of 7 yrs of progressively more responsible background in broad-based compensation, performance management and benefits, both health and welfare as well as deferred contribution plans.Global Compensation and Benefits background strongly preferred.Background with Performance Management Software implementation a plus.HRIS background a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft office suite applications.ADA ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:Duties 1 through eleven.SUPERVISION GIVEN AND RECEIVED:Works under general guidance and refers unusual problems to management for direction.EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent background is required, preferably in Business or related discipline.
