COLLECTION REPRESENTATIVES needed immediately in Denver area for national healthcare company Job duties as follows: •Research overdue account balance. Follow-up via mail and or phone to insurance carriers or customers•Review claims denied for payment and underpaid claims•Verify payment info. Adjustments to supervisor•Coordinate collection activities by preparing details for external collection agencies or attorneys.•Comply with the FDCPA•Respond to customer inquiries regarding account status•Resolve discrepancies and prepare adjustments and refunds as necessary•Coordinate collection agency communication.•Initiate payments and resubmit bills as necessary•Pursue patient for payment obligations when insurance defaults as permitted by law and contractual relationship This is long-term temp position with the possibilty of full time hire. Several openings currently available so feel free to refer a friend. Healthcare related collections a definite plus!
