Brief description of position: “ThinkSmart” program Instructor for middle school/high school with a passion for delivering a powerful character development/abstinence education curriculum to the youth of Central Florida. Must be creative, energetic, and able to stimulate the formative minds of young adolescents Must be comfortable teaching and promoting sexual-abstinence until marriage to groups of 20-30 teenagers and/or parents of various demographics and in various settings. Position also includes program clerical duties as Administrative Assistant. Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook; have ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task and take initiative, work independently, function as a member of a team, and be dependable. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and teaching experience preferred. Previous youth/character development and teaching experience may be substituted for degree. Additional Qualifications Must be willing to provide own transportation with mileage costs reimbursed. Successful applicant will be background screened in keeping with agency policies. Must have Valid Florida drivers’ license with a clean driving record to meet insurance carrier requirements.
