Biologist Are you looking for an exciting and ever-changing career opportunity? A well established company is hiring self-motivated, career-oriented, and disciplined individuals for positions that focus on controlling pests and wildlife. This job necessitates someone who enjoys working with people, animals and pests. Our customers call for details to remove invasive species from their homes or businesses. Daily our technicians deal with snakes, foxes, raccoons, squirrels, bats, beavers, birds, etc. We handle everything except bears and alligators over four feet. This is a very physical job working outside year round in varying temperatures. You will be climbing ladders, crawling under houses and in attics to do inspections and exclusion work. You will use your outstanding communication expertise to talk with our customers on the phone and in person, sharing your knowledge and ability. Every day is different and challenging as you determine the best way to remove, deter and prevent animals from returning to your customers' homes or businesses. If you have a degree in biology, herpetology, entomology, wildlife or animal sciences, this may be the job for you.Must have outstanding communication expertise.Must be physically able to carry and climb 32ft ladders.Must be organized.After training must be able to work without direct supervision.Must have a valid, current driver's license.Must be able to pass a drug screen, experience and driving history check.4 Yr science related degree preferred.Military or Sales experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
