Welcome to Delta Air Lines and thanks for checking-in to the opportunity to join our Customer Service team as a Baggage Handler/Ramp Operator- Seasonal employee.

As a member of our ground crew, you'll work in an enjoyable team environment and help make sure that our passengers' baggage arrives safely when they do.
Ramp Operators lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft. Duties also include operating ground support equipment such as tugs, conveyor belts and tow tractors. As part of our Seasonal - Ready Reserve, you will be scheduled to work 40 hours per week between May 1st - August 31st. You must be available for training between March 15th and April 15th and will be scheduled according to availability. The benefits will include flight privileges.
To qualify for this position, you must:
* Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
* Have a valid driver's license
* Be at least 18 years of age
* Have the ability to pass an extensive background check and drug test
* Have the ability to lift at least 70 lbs
* Be authorized to work in the US
* Have the ability to read, write and speak English
* Be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
* Have lived in the US for 5 years
