AVP Property Claims Services - NJ Relocation Yes Location Jersey City, NJ We need an industry leader in property claims with strong catastrophe experience. Company looking for a property claims leader with at least ten to fifteen years? experience and an expert understanding of claims and coverage issues, especially regarding catastrophic losses. Candidate should have experience leading a team of highly qualified claims pros and experience in speaking to industry groups and the media. Company investigates reported disasters and determines the extent and type of damage, dates of occurrence, and geographic areas affected. Their estimates also keep insurers, policyholders, regulators, and other interested parties informed about the total costs of disasters. Looking for an industry expert to lead this multi-million dollar business unit. Will have P&L and management responsibility and a fair amount of autonomy to meet the needs of customers. It will be important to have an understanding of the financial markets in addition to expertise in property claims. In addition to the day-to-day management of the operation, incumbent will be called on to represent company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings. MUST HAVE!!!!! 1. Strong property claims management experience including catastrophe experience ? ten year min. 2. Good visibility in the industry as a claims expert with experience presenting at industry conferences and trade shows. 3.
