For our New York City auction house client we are seeking an Associate Specialist. The successful candidate will assist Senior Specialists in Photography and Prints in sourcing work and liaising with clients; oversee and assist with all aspects of catalogue production, including researching, writing and editing entries; prepare estimates; respond to queries; build and maintain general client relations; other duties as required. The ideal applicant will have a BA in art history, at least three – 5 yrs' experience in an auction house and familiarity with catalogue production. An excellent opportunity for an energetic, productive and deadline-oriented professional with excellent research, writing and communications skills. Salary DOE and benefits.
