Progressive International Ministries -- Atlanta, GA 30318 Progressive International Ministries, a multi-cultural, inter-generational and inclusive ministry will be launched in March 2013 and is currently seeking individuals with a desire to pursue ministry in the following capacities: 1) Associate Pastor(s) of Community Outreach / Social Justice: Bachelor of Arts or Master of Divinity (preferred, but NOT required); 2+ years experience in civil engagement and social change in the community and the Church; conveys information to Senior Pastor as needed to execute plan of community action; devises initiatives and methods by which the congregation may minister more effectively to the needs of the community, encourages the congregation to be actively engaged in social justice and serves as the liaison between the affairs of the community and the congregation; 2) Associate Pastor(s) of Counseling, Visitation and Bereavement: Bachelor of Arts or Science / Masters in Counseling (preferred, but NOT required); 2+ years experience in pastoral counseling; interest in representing the church when members are hospitalized, shut-in or unable to attend regularly scheduled worship opportunities and the compassion to comfort bereaved families who are or are not affiliated with a local congregation. *All associate pastor positions are not paid. - Assistant / Executive Pastor: *Bachelor of Arts / Science / Master of Theological Studies / Divinity (preferred, but NOT required) *3-5 years of ministerial leadership as Associate Pastor (licensed in ministry) *Willingness to assist Senior Pastor (in absence and coordinating weekly worship services) *Heart to serve God's people, follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit and support of PIM of Atlanta and the vision of the Senior Pastor *The Executive Pastor is a paid position, which is commensurate with experience in ministry. -If interested in apply to these positions, please apply by calling (404) 983-1332.
