LOCATION: Nashville, TN.COMPANY:Uniguest is the world leader in providing information touchpoints to the hospitality industry.TITLE:AS3 DeveloperROLE:The AS3 Developer will work directly with the Director of Development to develop new and exciting desktop and mobile Adobe AIR applications utilizing Uniguest's proprietary Unicore platform. The AS3 Developer will also work closely with the Windows and Macintosh specialists, and with QA and technical support teams to facilitate testing and documentation. The AS3 Developer will work indirectly with the Chief Technology Officer to ensure that developed solutions fit within Uniguest's vision. Work product will feature a high degree of attention to design, detail and visual polish and be utilized by guests and employees of the largest hotel brands in the world.JOB REQUIREMENTS:• 2+ years as a developer• 1+ years experience with AS3• 1+ years experience with common web technologies• Uniguest is not an H1B sponsor company.• Please submit resume with code sample and portfolio.SKILLS REQUIRED:• Expert in Flash/AS3 development• Comfortable working in both Flash Professional and Flash Builder• Experienced with HTML/JavaScript/CSS• Experienced in consuming web services (SOAP, JSON, etc.)• Experienced working under version control systems. (Git)• Experienced with responsive design concepts• Ability to write efficient, well-structured, well-documented, and reusable code. • Knowledge of and when to use various data structures and design patterns. • Knowledge of when to use code animations versus timeline animations.• Experience with the AIR platform a big plus, but not required• Design skills a plus, but not requiredRESPONSIBILITIES:• Develop interactive applications for Windows, OSX, iOS and Android devices • Stay abreast of advances in desktop and mobile technologiesCOMPENSATION:Salary commensurate with experience.
