Description:
A stable and growing educational institution is seeking an accounts payable specialist to join its Virginia Beach team. This is a full process accounts payable position for a national multisite organization. Typical duties include processing and coding invoices, entering invoices into Great Plains, auditing and reconciling invoices for correct coding and accurate amounts, check preparation, creating back-up audit documentation and financial reports, assisting with expense reports through Concur and AMEX credit card processing, and reconciliations. The candidate must have 3+ years of strong accounts payable experience in a high-volume, multi-entity environment; exceptional data entry skills; strong computer knowledge; experience with credit card statements and expense reports preferred; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and be someone who enjoys a positive, team-centered environment.
