Riverdale/Glendale/BurbankJob Summary: Responsible for profitably growing sales to achieve yearly sales growth goals set forth by management as an Account Representative (Booker) through the development of relationships with emphasis on solutions for current customers and emerging markets; responsible for prospecting for new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and increasing opportunities with existing customers. Submits all paperwork (including entry of all visits and camera days) to the Home Office via Web or by FAX on a daily basis. Follow up with school/center director approximately two weeks prior to photography session to discuss the program specifics, preparations and notifications for portrait day.Responsible for profitably growing sales to achieve yearly sales growth goals through the presentation and selling of pre-printed portrait packages to each child's parent at the school/center. Provides parents with selection information in an informative manner (not high pressure sales), explaining the value of each portrait package in a clear and correct manner. Accurately calculates portrait cost and collects payment. Completes daily bookkeeping paperwork after selling portraits. Ships unsold portraits, payments and paperwork each week by Noon on Saturday to the Home Office. Other duties may be assigned.________________________________________Essential Job Functions:• Makes in person visits to all active accounts 4 times each year. Visits will be broken down to weekly goals for visits and camera days.• Schedules area Photographers to photograph 5 days per week using the camera day formulao 5 day camera = 150 sets per week for 34 weeks per year = minimum of 5,100 per year per camera.• Meets required sales average for assigned territory. Grows territory and exceeds historic sales averages by developing and sustaining sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers. Grows and manages sales volume of existing customers.• Prospects successfully to expand the customer base.• Develops and implements plans to expand market presence in the assigned territory. • Maintains professional behavior at all times, including a consistently positive and helpful attitude and tone of voice toward customers and co-workers.• Maintains frequent reporting and communication with appropriate Home Office personnel.• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and adapt productively to change.• Confirms the scheduled photography session and review the items in the Notification Packet with Director two weeks prior to the scheduled photography session. • Inspect the location of the photography session.• Complete checklist of discussion items and document any follow up questions/issues.• Calls day care center at least 3 days in advance of scheduled Portrait Sales Day to confirm day, date and time. • Provides quality and service with pride, professionalism, and integrity that ensures Nationwide Studios, Inc. is requested to be the exclusive portrait company year after year.• Presents portraits to each child's parent at the school, using Nationwide Studios, Inc. display techniques.• Calculates portrait costs, collects payments, accurately and timely completes daily bookkeeping paperwork after selling portraits and remits payments to Accounting.• Picks up holds (portraits that were left for parents at the day care /school) within 2 weeks of initial Portrait Sales Day.• Maintains constant communication with Home Office Teammates.• Develops and sustains sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers on all levels of Nationwide Studios, Inc.• Reports weekly to the Home Office by mailing/shipping unsold portraits, payment and completed paperwork by noon on Saturday. • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and adapt productively to change.________________________________________Core Competencies:• Good planning and organization skills; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to be a self-starter, self-motivated; strong desire to succeed.• Ability to accurately perform basic bookkeeping procedures, including mathematical computation: addition, subtraction, multiplication.• Entrepreneurial spirit to achieve sales goals.• Ability to accept and operate in a changing environment; ability to learn new sales techniques and to be open to new ideas.• Detail-oriented.• Ability to problem solve.• Ability to communicate and interact with all levels within the organization; ability to form partnerships with all departments.• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and adapt productively for change.• Exemplary verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and strong presentation skills.________________________________________Education/Training Requirements:High school graduate or GED required.Required Qualifications (Experience, Skills & Equipment):• Must have reliable transportation. ● Must have auto insurance. • Must have a valid driver's license. ● Must have the capability to communicate via email ________________________________________Preferred Qualifications (Experience, Skills & Equipment):• Previous background in retail, sales, or customer service.
