Watch our video to see our team build top-of-the-line compact track loaders. * 3rd Shift: Sunday - Friday 10:15 PM - 6:15 AM * 3rd Shift: $26.37/hour + 8% Shift Premium As a Robot Technician at Caterpillar, you will: Under general supervision, be responsible for the set-up, maintenance and operation of robotic welding equipment and other duties as assigned. Typically reports to a supervisor. * Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic fixtures. * Follows documented procedures standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect free work and adjustment of components and machines. * Perform other related work duties as assigned. * Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea * Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work. * Keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition. * Must be able to function as part of a team, willing to be multi-trained and maintain a safe, clean an orderly work area * Contributing team member * Must have effective communications skills Physical Requirements: * Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods. * Ability to perform repetitive operations. * Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Basic Qualifications: * Requires a mechanical or electronic aptitude with a good working knowledge of fabrication and machining practices. * Must have GMAW welding experience * Proficient computer skill with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints Desired Qualifications: Robotic experience with: * Touch Sensing * Through the Arc Seam Tracking * Position Registers * User Frames * Tool Center Point * Welding/Weaving Schedules * Remastering * Macros Additional Information: * Resumes are highly encouraged.
