Network / System Engineer VBCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Network / System Engineer V for an opportunity in Chicago, IL || Jacksonville, FL || Richmond, VA!Position Title: Network / System Engineer VLocation: Chicago, IL || Jacksonville, FL || Richmond, VAAnticipated Start Date: ASAPPlease note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 12 Months.Job Type: CONTRACTShift: Monday - Friday (5x8)Pay Range: $60/hr.Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Requirements: * Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent educational experience * 10+ years with extensive Engineering experience with Microsoft Exchange, preferably 2016 and 2019 * 10+ years' experience with core Microsoft Exchange technologies such as DAG clustering, RBAC security, Directory Sites, DNS/F5, routing configurations, Transport Rules * 10+ years' experience using and developing using Microsoft PowerShell (4/5) * Strong proficiency with industry wide core email technologies and SMTP * Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications * Experience with the Application Development Process (business modeling, data modeling, process modeling and flowcharting, application generation, and testing and turnover) as well as enterprise software design concepts (flowcharting, design patterns, object-oriented programming, deployment process, and test plan development) * Knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure technologies including Active Directory * Demonstratable track record of success with complex automation projects using Windows PowerShell * Demonstratable ability to debug PowerShell scripting issues, create test plans, participate in testing reviews, and resolve moderate defects. * Demonstratable ability to document existing PowerShell code. * Sound understanding of test-driven development (TDD) practice using Pester. * Experience with Windows desktop & servers, registry management, process management, file I/O operations, networking etc.Job Description: * Global Email/Teams Engineering is looking for an experienced engineer to join our Exchange Engineering team.
