RMS Capital Markets specializes in helping clients manage the transfer of catastrophe risk to the capital markets. Through a combination of consulting services, portfolio management products, and indices for trading, we work closely with all sectors of the catastrophe risk market to help understand the risks and returns associated with catastrophe bonds, collateralized reinsurance, and other types of insurance linked securities (ILS).The business unit facilitates client relationships, proactive service activities and drives client satisfaction and revenue protection. These proactive service activities include pre-sales engagement, product and model change management, model adoption monitoring/advocacy, catastrophe response, one-off special projects, on-site training, as well as providing guidance on how to effectively utilize RMS products in the highly technical ILS market. JOB DESCRIPTION Our high performing Customer Success team is looking for a Client Success Executive to work closely within the Capital Markets segment to support clients and expand strategic client relationships. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with limited direction. The main functions of this role are to execute the strategic account plan, work closely with our client base, partner with the RMS sales team to retain revenue while ensuring a high quality of service and effective communications between the client and internal RMS business units. Success will be determined by client retention and satisfaction as well as performance on individual project-based initiatives. Essential Job Functions Act as a strategic advisor to clients, helping them achieve their long- and short-term business objectives Establish a trusted relationship with each client and deliver exceptional service around complex projects and strategic engagements as you drive client value Partner with sales team on execution of account strategies Develop and execute account renewal and cancellation mitigation strategies Identify expansion opportunities by having a deep understanding of the client's business operations and applying RMS' solutions to provide value Proactively identify and improve upon areas of client dissatisfaction Manage client expectations as you monitor the progress of client inquiries up to confirmation of final resolution; ensure the final resolution fully meets RMS standards Lead event response outreach and on-going support Lead change management activities for updated product and model releases Deliver client onboarding and training of new products and services Provide ongoing technical expertise & assistance Work both independently and with a team Capital Market Job Functions Maintain ILS(insurance linked securities) market expertise and act as market advocate within RMS Develop a thorough understanding of RMS ILS products and services and associated models and how they can be incorporated into a clients' risk management process to drive value Demonstrate confidence providing consultative advice to clients on workflows and business practice based on industry experience Develop contacts and maintain existing relationships with key client stakeholders Partner with internal RMS teams to build, plan and implement wider RMS initiatives within the ILS market Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree with a strong academic track record in a quantitative or scientific subject such as economics, sciences, math, financial, engineering or computer science Minimum 5 years' of professional track record and experience in a client servicing role within insurance, catastrophe management, risk management, software services, analytics or in a similar related field Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - must be able to relay complex and often technical concepts to broad audiences Proven track record of demonstrated ability to onboard, support, and excite customers to deliver high customer satisfaction, advocacy, and loyalty Strong presentation skills Strong project management skills Strong networking and influencing skills Solid organizational skills and ability to work under pressure Ability to coordinate across different teams, working effectively in a team and as an individual Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must Technical expertise in SQL, R or Python will be looked upon favorably Travel Moderate travel may be requiredFor US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$110k - [[$140k, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
