The ideal candidate will handle a variety of responsibilities including litigation, employment advice and counseling, drafting employment contracts and policies, and collaboration with transactional teams on employment aspects of transactions. Job Duties:Handle litigation matters, including lawsuits and agency proceedings, related to labor and employment issues.Provide comprehensive employment advice and counseling to clients.Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and other related documents.Collaborate with transactional teams to address employment aspects of various transactions.Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment law matters.Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.Stay abreast of developments in labor and employment law to ensure compliance and provide proactive advice. Requirements:3-6 years of experience in employment law.Exceptional written and oral communication skills.Excellent academic credentials.Licensed in North Carolina or ability to become licensed immediately. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or ability to become licensed immediately. Skills:Strong understanding of labor and employment law.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Proficient in legal research and analysis.Drafting and negotiation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
