We need someone with a positive attitude toward customer service and a warm smile to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests at the restaurant by ensuring they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served on time, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. Responsibilities: • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties• Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities • Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests• Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations• Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors Qualifications: • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers• Previous experience working in food service is preferred• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) Compensation: $2.13 + tips About Company: In 2016, Paul and Lucrecia Davis, residents of Pearland, Texas, noticed an unmet need in their community.
