Description:
KidTherapy is looking for our next physical therapist. You will work with people who have mobility issues due to developmental or neurological delays, or after surgery or an injury, and help them develop a treatment plan. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating personalized rehabilitation plans for patients while also providing them with physical therapy to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Responsibilities: • Create treatment strategies using a range of therapeutic methods for each patient• Evaluate and interpret findings from the patient's tests results and assessments• Ensure that patient care records are correct, and adhere to all regulations and guidelines• Collaborate with others in the medical field and seek their opinions • Utilize physical therapy on patients to ease discomfort and increase mobility as prescribed by doctor Qualifications: • Must have exceptional analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills• This position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)• Previous experience working with patients in a healthcare environment is highly desired• Current state licensure in the state you practice• This position requires passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 yearly About Company: Kidtherapy is a multidisciplinary outpatient pediatric clinic that is therapist-owned and managed. We do only clinic-based services and a small amount of teletherapy. KidTherapy's pediatric therapy facility has over 4,000 square feet of fully equipped space. We offer two sensory gyms, an orthopedic gym, and four private treatment rooms. It is the mission of KidTherapy to provide the highest quality integrated therapeutic services through individualized, compassionate, reliable, and professional treatment specifically tailored to best fit each patient and their family's specific needs and goals.
