For information on Community Bible, visit www.communitybible.net This position is a Pastor or director-level position with an emphasis on CBCKids ages 0 - 5th Grade. Lead the vision for a Children’s Ministry that will allow kids to experience God, not just learn about Him, in an engaging, fun and effective way. Lead and develop a dynamic leadership team of volunteers through providing resources, team nights, training and implementing appreciation strategies Write and create custom curriculum, including Sunday lessons and take-home activities Develop an active outreach ministry to preschoolers, elementary children and their families Plan, organize, staff, and coordinate engaging ministry events for children and families Co-lead and oversee Sunday special needs children’s ministry. Develop and implement policies for the safety and security of children Plan, schedule and participate in parent/child dedication services and classes Facilitate the sharing of space, resources, and teaching materials by church and other ministries/departments Coordinate nursery/preschool worship care and childcare during agreed upon church-wide events Use effective modes of communication including weekly update emails, Instagram, etc. designed to keep families engaged and informed Participate in monthly 1/1 with Supervisor, Core team meetings, staff meetings, and all church events throughout the year. Perform other duties as assigned.
