A company is looking for a Director of Engineering. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, integration, testing, and operations of the Earth observation satellite constellation Manage constellation development project goals and contribute to the technology roadmap Support a team of hardware and software engineers, including resource planning, hiring, professional development, and mentorship Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen Advanced degree in engineering, physics, or imaging science 10+ years of systems engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role Extensive knowledge of spacecraft and Earth observation instrument design, development, and testing methodologies Experience operating space systems for Earth observation
