Fort Bend Independent School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Home Bound Teacher School Year: 2024-2025 Location: Technical Education Center Job Overview: The Teacher Home Bound will provide educational services in a hospital/home setting to eligible students who are medically not able to attend school at their home campus due to serious medical needs, including illness. Any teacher who will coach a UIL sport will also provide athletic services related to that athletic sport and the athletic program. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the above essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities, required unless otherwise stated as preferred. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field Valid Texas Teacher Certification Valid Special Education Certification Valid Driver's license with CDL Certification preferred if coaching a UIL sport Coaching experience is preferred if coaching a UIL sport
