Job Overview:The Lateral Corporate Partner will be responsible for bringing in and managing a portable business of at least $1 million. Duties:Bring in and manage a portable business of at least $1 millionProvide strategic legal advice to clients on corporate mattersLead and manage corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and financingsOversee corporate governance and compliance mattersMentor junior attorneys and provide guidance on complex legal matters Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Bar in New YorkMinimum of 8 years of experience in corporate lawPortable business of at least $1 million Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the Bar in New York Skills:Strong business development and client management skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsLeadership and mentorship abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBusiness acumen and strategic thinking This general practice law firm has offices in New York and Washington, DC.
