St. Mark’s Part-time Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist is a crucial position for the effective operations of St. Mark’s Episcopal School. The primary function is to assist the Controller with Accounts Payable and Receivable functions. Duties: Accounts payable Process invoices assuring proper coding and approvals Enter invoices into Financial Edge accounting software Manage school’s credit card purchasing Assist Controller with collection of credit card receipts on a monthly basis and coding assistance via Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT’s Expense Management system Complete weekly check runs, including procuring the signing, scanning, and mailing of checks under the supervision of the Controller Manage filing of vendor contracts and COIs Assure W-9s are on file for all vendors Research and provide documentation during annual audit Accounts receivable Manage tuition, athletic fees, and other uploads into tuition management software Research and respond to parent questions Follow up on past-due accounts Make bank deposits online and in person under the supervision of the Controller Knowledge, skills, and experience: Working knowledge of the following software and products: Microsoft Office Google Office Suite Adobe Acrobat Pro Knowledge of Blackbaud products including Financial Edge NXT and Tuition Management is a plus or willingness to learn Experience in accounts payable is required Knowledge of independent school settings preferred Confidentiality and sensitivity are required Work Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week with the following schedule, which can be flexible: 4-hours Monday through Wednesday 8-hours on Thursdays Acknowledgments In the event you are invited for an interview, the following items are required for further consideration: A copy of your college transcript.
