The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing transactions for competition issues, navigating merger control filing requirements, and advocating before regulatory bodies such as the DOJ and FTC. Duties:Analyze transactions for competition issues, focusing on merger control filing requirements.Conduct substantive analysis and address procedural issues related to the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act and implementing Rules.Manage filing logistics for HSR Act compliance.Advocate before regulatory bodies, including the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).Provide legal counsel in technology, life sciences, and private equity transactions, with a focus on antitrust matters. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Relevant Bar admission in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.Proven experience in antitrust law, particularly in analyzing transactions and merger control.Familiarity with the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act and its regulations.Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Relevant Bar admission in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain admission promptly. Skills:Analytical skills to assess competition issues in transactions.Strong understanding of antitrust laws and regulations.Ability to communicate effectively with clients and regulatory bodies.Attention to detail in managing filing logistics and procedural requirements.Advocacy skills for representing clients before the DOJ and FTC.
