The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in commercial litigation, with proficiency in various aspects of case management, including discovery, depositions, pleadings, and document review. Duties:Manage and execute complex litigation cases with a focus on commercial disputes.Conduct and oversee discovery processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards and deadlines.Take and defend depositions, presenting a comprehensive understanding of case facts.Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.Supervise and coordinate document review processes, collaborating with legal support staff and technology resources.Provide strategic legal advice and analysis to clients throughout the litigation process.Represent clients in court proceedings when necessary, demonstrating a strong courtroom presence.Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop case strategies and tactics. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California Bar or eligibility to promptly obtain admission.Should have some years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on complex litigation.Proven track record of handling commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.Strong understanding of federal and state civil procedure, rules of evidence, and legal research methods.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Outstanding academic credentials and a commitment to excellence in legal practice.In-court experience is preferred, showcasing the ability to effectively represent clients in litigation settings. Skills:Proficiency in commercial litigation and case management.Strong legal research and writing skills.Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in legal documentation.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a legal team and interface with clients.
