Summary We are hiring for Physical Therapist to join our team in Senior Living. n n At LHC Group, we embrace a culture of caring, belonging, and trust and enjoy the meaningful connections that come from it: for the whole patient, their families, each other, and the communities we serve-it truly is all about helping people. n n As a Physical Therapist, you can expect: n n the ability to build in-person trusted therapist-patient relationships n continuing education and tuition reimbursement opportunities n independence and autonomy n career growth possibilities nResponsibilities n Evaluates the patient to determine rehab potential, identifies needs, establishes an individualized treatment plan of care, and sets goals to be used in the team plan of care. n Sets initial STG's and LTG's. n Utilizes equipment in a proper and safe manner, maintains equipment inspection, maintenance and cleaning logs, reports broken or faulty equipment. n Maintains equipment logs for required equipment in the outpatient clinic. n Follows medical regimen developed for the patient. Is aware of and adheres to precautions (THR, TKR, Cardiac, Wound, etc.). n Utilizes the following safe treatment techniques: transfers, positioning, feeding, splinting, paraffin bath, cryotherapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, etc. n Completes D/C summary on each patient on their final visit to outpatient PT. n Education and Experience n Current Physical Therapist licensure in state of practice. n Current CPR certification required. n Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation. n Company Overview LHC Group is committed to a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer.
