VCA Winslow Animal Hospital is seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and skilled Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Sicklerville, New Jersey. We are a progressive, fast-paced small animal hospital, treating dogs and cats. Our AAHA-accredited, state -of-the-art 10,500 square foot facility was featured in the November 2011 issue of Veterinary Economics Magazine: "Merit Hospital Design Winner" We are staffed with 7 superb veterinarians with diverse interests and a shared focus on client and team education and wellness care for our patients. Our veterinarians perform many soft tissue and orthopedic procedures and regularly receive patients from local veterinarians on a referral basis. Our veterinarians are supported by a staff of 35, including several Certified Veterinary Technicians. One of our doctors is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and trained in Chinese herbal medicine and food therapy, as well as Veterinary Spinal Manipulation (chiropractic). Winslow Animal hospital also houses a physical rehabilitation center equipped with an underwater treadmill, therapeutic laser, E-Stim/TENS and pulsed electro-magnetic field bed. Our staff doctor ratio is 5:1, which allows our doctors to practice quality medicine. This is a great opportunity for an associate to expand their knowledge in a fast-paced work environment. This qualified candidate must be friendly, a team player, outgoing and skilled in communicating ideas to clients and staff, and someone who excels in client service. We are 20 minutes from the sports complex where the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, 76'ers and Flyers play their home games. We are 30 minutes or less from Center City Philadelphia Museums, and venues, such as the Kimmel Center, where the Philadelphia orchestra plays.
