BEARtechs is seeking computer hardware and low voltage cabling techs to service businesses in the Saint Louis area.We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a field setting.Responsibilities:- Provide on-site technical support to end users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring new equipment, and performing system upgrades.- Respond to service requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact to the business.- Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems, networks, and software applications.- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.- Collaborate with other IT team members to troubleshoot complex technical problems and implement solutions.- Communicate effectively with end users to provide guidance and training on technology usage and best practices.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.- Previous experience working as an IT Field Technician or in a similar technical support role.- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.- Strong communication and customer service skills.If you are a proactive and detail-oriented IT professional looking to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
