Position Title: Technical Solutions Architect Location: Sacramento, CA, 95814 Anticipated Start Date: 05/27/2024. Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 09+ Months Contract with Strong Possibility to Extension. Job Type: [FULL TIME (40 HRS WEEKLY)] [CONTRACT], [ONSITE] Pay Range: $50- $55/hr W2 Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description: Key Responsibilities: * Develop scalable and resilient application architecture designs. * Provide advanced architectural solutions for complex business challenges. * Offer strategic technical guidance to development teams. * Mentor and coach developers on industry best practices and trends. * Architect and implement advanced APIs to ensure optimal performance. * Evaluate and adopt emerging API technologies for continuous improvement. * Utilize advanced features and capabilities of relevant technologies for microservices development. * Architect and implement event-driven architectures for efficient and scalable communication. * Lead advanced web development projects using Angular, Java, and Python. * Implement cutting-edge techniques for responsive and user-friendly interfaces. * Develop and optimize Docker containers for deployment. * Implement advanced Kubernetes features for efficient orchestration. * Architect and deploy highly available cloud-based applications. * Optimize and fine-tune applications for performance and cost efficiency. * Implement advanced CI/CD pipelines for automated workflows. * Design and optimize advanced database solutions for diverse requirements. * Implement strategies for data consistency, availability, and partitioning. * Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative solutions. * Conducted in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of architectural issues and helped the team with production issues. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with business goals. * Engage with stakeholders to gather and understand advanced technical requirements. * Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. * Drive innovation by exploring and implementing cutting-edge solutions.Required Skills: * Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, WebServices, and Kafka integrations. * Extensive experience in web development using Angular, NodeJS, and Python. * Experience with advanced UI frameworks is a plus. * In-depth knowledge of application architecture design principles. * A strong understanding of databases and data analytics is a must. * Expertise in API design using REST, SOAP, SMTP, and SFTP. * Expertise with OAuth, SAML, OIDC and other authentication protocol implementations * Expertise with security protocols, containers and Vault integration is a plus. * Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker-Compose, and Kubernetes. * Cloud application development experience with AWS and Azure. * Proficient in CI/CD processes (TeamCity/Jenkins etc.) and Python for application automation and orchestration. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. * Proven experience as a technical solutions architect or in a similar role. * Relevant certifications in cloud platforms and architectural frameworks are a plus.Benefits: BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.
