The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various patent projects in the life sciences sector, including drafting, prosecution, post-grant proceedings, opinions, and due diligence.Duties:Draft patent applications and responses to office actions.Prosecute patent applications before the USPTO.Conduct post-grant proceedings.Provide legal opinions on patentability, validity, and infringement.Conduct due diligence reviews related to patent matters.Requirements:1-10 years of experience as a Patent Agent.A master’s degree, with a preference for a PhD, in Organic Chemistry or a related field.Alternatively, 2-3 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution on small molecule pharmaceuticals.Admission to practice before the USPTO.Education:Master’s degree or PhD in Organic Chemistry or a related field.Certifications:Admission to practice before the USPTO.Skills:Strong understanding of patent law and regulations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to conduct legal research and analysis.Attention to detail and ability to work independently.Proficiency in drafting patent applications and responses to office actions.
