Here's a comprehensive job description:Job Overview:The Associate Attorney will primarily handle breach of contract and collection litigation matters, from demand through judgment. They will represent clients in court hearings, prepare and argue Motions for Summary Judgment, and manage their assigned caseload efficiently to meet goals and client expectations. The ideal candidate must possess a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in California; multi-jurisdictional admission in AZ, CA, NV, and FL is preferred. Experience with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (“FDCPA”) and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (“UCC”) is advantageous. Strong communication, research, and software skills are essential for success in this role. The candidate should excel at managing and prioritizing a large caseload, problem-solving, and working with attention to detail at a fast pace.
