The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in drafting, negotiating, and supporting intellectual property agreements while providing intellectual property due diligence for corporate transactions in the life sciences sector.Duties:Draft and negotiate intellectual property licenses, including patent and trademark licenses.Work on joint development, collaboration, and other strategic alliance agreements.Negotiate technology licenses and services agreements, including software as a service agreement.Manage distribution agreements and provide legal support for related transactions.Conduct intellectual property and technology transaction due diligence for corporate transactions and technology transfers.Requirements:3-6 years of relevant experience in intellectual property licensing and technology transactions.Proven experience in intellectual property support, including due diligence for corporate transactions in the life sciences sector.Outstanding academic credentials and a strong law firm background.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly).Skills:Strong drafting and negotiation skills for intellectual property agreements.Legal research and analysis capabilities.Proficiency in technology and intellectual property law.Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities in complex legal situations.
