Registered Echo Sonographer Fast-paced, high-volume clinic is looking for top skilled Registered Echo Sonographer Work location: 4400 Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound TX 75028 Work hours: PRN, As needed working a rotating shift Department Highlights: Strong teamwork and collaboration Compassion and empathy to our patients and the team Small, hospital environment that provides a family feel Here's What You Need High School Diploma or Equivalent (required) Associate Degree of an accredited school of ultrasound technology (preferred) RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS Upon Hire (required) or RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer Upon Hire (required) BCLS prior to providing patient care and maintained quarterly Excellent communication skills What You Will Do Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing: Explains procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to exam Positions patient to correct anatomical area of interest Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations Adjusts techniques parameters appropriately for age related factor Assists cardiologist with TEE procedures, Stress Echos, and other complex procedures using appropriate techniques Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits.
