We are in need of a Rental Agent to join our successful team who is versed in seeking out and pre-qualifying clients for rental homes, apartments and commercial businesses. The ideal candidate for this position is familiar with local, state and Federal Fair Housing laws and enjoys promoting properties on various social media channels and websites. This position comes with continuing education, administrative and marketing support plus a great family-first attitude. We work hard and play hard too. Responsibilities: • Use a variety of social media and company’s website to display potential properties to help prompt quick turn around• Process contracts with tenants and collect security deposits to ensure closing of the deal• Show prospective tenants properties and highlight the provided amenities to help ensure rental contract• Prepare for market changes by researching local rates and calculating costs to ensure competitive and fair pricing• Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of customers in order to match those needs to a property• Explain the requirements for potential tenants• Review the rental application process with potential tenants• Meet and qualify for rental opportunities provided to you by the company Qualifications: • Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices• Past sales experience is preferred• Competent in Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new programs and systems• Excellent communication and negotiation skills• Knowledge of types of homes and their heating systems• Strong knowledge of neighborhoods in Philadelphia Compensation: $55,000+ at plan commission About Company: We are the number one Century 21 firm in Pennsylvania, with 11 locations serving PA and NJ.
