Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future. The Role Applies approved technologies and architectures to specific requirements for additions to support growth and new services. This position is responsible for all raised floor hardware installation and break / fix consisting of large systems environments for mission critical site. Provides direction & technical guidance for installing and monitoring operating system hardware. Installs hardware, support and perform break/fix, and provides support for small and large system hardware including other attached data communications devices. Location This is an onsite position in our CO market. The office location is 1025 Eldorado Blvd Interlocken 3000 CO: Broomfield. The Main Responsibilities Work on standards and inventory controls for all hardware requirements. Implements all Raised Floor changes on large and midrange systems, as directed, except for Vendor Installs. This includes servers, storage devices, network equipment, routers, switches, and cabling. Provide IT support to internal and external customers in a 24x7 on-call operation. This includes responding to the data center for on-site support and hardware replacements. Run hardware diagnostics and replace failing parts in a timely manner. Upgrade internal system components, include CPUs, memory, hard drives, and network cables in midrange server equipment. Physically installs Cross-Connections for voice and data configurations. Also assists in the design of floor plans and infrastructure for new hardware installations. Manages departmental standards and supports the inventory of critical raised floor hardware. Responsible for the development, integration, and management of all raised floor servicing standards to include equipment installations, hardware maintenance, hardware racking, cable management, and vendor support. What We Look For in a Candidate Should be able to work with departmental managers to ensure consistent and high-quality support for all mission critical operations/applications. Maintain and communicate with team and customers on projects in the pipeline to ensure all parties are kept up to date as well as updating documentation to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Fully seasoned with typically 3 years professional experience or equivalent education/ certifications Should be able reviews all Service Now tickets for tracking assigned incoming work. Also creates and manages Change Management Requests (CMR's) for all raised floor work including validating that the records get approved. A certification is good to have but not required. Should be able to lift and move objects 50 pounds with assistance. Must agree to the Public Trust Suitability Government background check Compensation Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
