Liberty Towers ChurchCHILDREN’S PROGRAMMING DIRECTORDo you love working with kids? Do you have a passion for both Children’s Ministry and families in the local community? Looking for a flexible work environment? Liberty Towers is hiring a part time, outreach-motivated Children’s Programming Director (with the option of full time work if interested in working on our community outreach kids team). This director would be primarily responsible for overseeing the children’s programming on Sundays for children 6weeks through 6 th grade. You would be working under and supporting the Children and Families Pastor to ensure that every child we encounter feels welcome, known and loved.ABOUT US:Liberty Towers is a church that is unlike most. We have an extremely diverse community, and we love kids by taking a families-first approach to most of what we do. We have deep community partnerships and interact with our neighbors and local community every week. We put up a giant inflatable slide every Sunday after church, accompanied with snacks, because we believe that if we want kids to get serious about Jesus, we need to get serious about having FUN!We love bringing high energy and intentionality into our children’s worship services on Sundays as well as our weekly and quarterly activities for the community. We have grown by 200% in the last year and a half, and we are excited to add someone to our team who will be able to help us love each family to the best of our ability.PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Submits their life to God and the authority of His Word. Understands and supports Liberty Towers’ mission and values; uses vision to filter decisions. Willing to take calculated risks or try unconventional ideas to yield impactful results. Dedicated to continual growth: spiritual, personal, professional. Able to adapt or pivot quickly to new situations. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Passionate about children inside and outside the church. 2 years’ experience in Children’s Ministry or related experience which includes leading kids, recruiting and leading volunteers, experience teaching and/or managing people (preferred, not required). Focused on people over performance. Superior communication skills, written and verbal. Organized and able to manage multiple projects at once. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee all aspects of the Sunday morning children’s experience, including preparing for all environments. Recruit, train and schedule volunteers for Sunday mornings and special events for children. Maintain an up-to-date database and system of family care and follow-up Assist the Children and Families Pastor with all major events including children (Summer Blast, Big Drop, Christmas Extravaganza, Easter Bash, etc). Recruit and train childcare workers for on-campus groups and classes as needed PAY:The position is TBD based on experience.
