Job Overview:Managing all aspects of personal injury cases up to the filing of a complaintProviding guidance and counsel to clientsSupervising and providing direction to a team of staff membersNegotiating and authorizing settlements in the pre-litigation stage Duties:Evaluating the merits of personal injury casesSupervising and providing direction to a team of staff membersReviewing medical records and conducting medical case reviewsConducting legal research and analysis to support case strategyNegotiating and authorizing settlements in the pre-litigation stageProviding guidance and counsel to clients throughout the pre-litigation processPrioritizing client representation and delivering exceptional customer serviceManaging a large and active caseload efficiently and effectivelyUtilizing strong investigative and problem-solving skills Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolLicense in good standing to practice law in Massachusetts2+ years of experience with client contact and/or negotiation experienceStrong research, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to handle a large and active caseloadPrioritization of client representation and customer serviceSuccess providing direction and guidance to a team of staffFormidable negotiation skills Certifications:License to practice law in Massachusetts Skills:Strong research, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent investigator and problem-solver skillsAbility to prioritize client representation and deliver exceptional customer serviceSuccess providing direction and guidance to a team of staffFormidable negotiation skills
