Overview: Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Temp – Senior Analyst, Wholesale to join the Wholesale Team based in our New York City (SoHo) headquarters RESPONSIBILITIES : Collaborate with the Head of Wholesale to generate forecast reports and contribute to budget planning both internally and for client accounts. Utilize historical data, including last year (LY) and last last year (LLY), to assess performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform strategic decisions. Conduct quantitative analysis aimed at enhancing top-line profitability, identifying new revenue opportunities, and mitigating potential risks. Work closely with Account Executives to develop seasonal strategies and create pre-season plans that are aligned with company growth objectives. Generate ad hoc reports by analyzing sales, stock levels, sell-through rates, door performance, and productivity metrics to provide actionable insights. Analyze receipt flows for each season and develop various sales, gross margin, and profitability scenarios to support decision-making processes. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Minimum five (5) years retail/wholesale planning experience in luxury/fashion industry Must be self-motivated and a team player Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities Exceptional analytical and Retail Math skills required Advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER: The compensation for this position ranges from $38-$43 (hourly). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. MJ employees also receive discounts on MJ products throughout the year.
