About The Role: We are currently looking for a Payroll Tax Specialist to work out of our St. Louis office . This position will manage multi-state payroll tax activities for our clients and is critical to ensuring our clients are compliant with tax regulations. This is a highly specialized role with a high degree of responsibility. Key Responsibilities: Review and submit all required payroll tax deposits and returns accurately and timely to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Research and resolve all tax notices and inquiries. Responsible for new client tax implementation and termination of departing clients. Process tax adjustments and verifications. Register clients with taxing agencies when requested. Skills and Requirements: Experience processing payroll tax payments with federal, state, and local taxing agencies. Knowledge and understanding of current payroll and tax laws. Effective communicator with exceptional people skills. Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills. Self-starter with proven time management skills and ability to prioritize. Collaborative and team oriented.
