We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with a strong, demonstrated background in electrical systems design, integration, and program execution. SKILLS: : Creative, dynamic team player, able to lead cross:functional groups.: Strong multi:tasking with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.: Well:developed problem solving and root cause analysis capabilities.: Experience leading electrical design activities including developing cost and schedule targets.: Flexibility to adapt and drive progress when design aspects are not fully defined or evolve over time.: Effective communication with an ability to explain complex technical challenges to stakeholders. RESPONSIBILITIES: : Subject Matter Expert in batteries and chargers within the Digital Systems Engineering (DSE) group: Work closely with product management and other key stakeholders to define the strategy and technical roadmap for electrification of new and existing Tennant machines.: Translate business requirements into well:designed, implemented, and documented solutions.: Establish functional requirements and performance targets for electrical sub:systems.: Develop new ideas/hypotheses, conduct quick Proofs:of:Concept (POCs) to validate them and de:risk development.: Technical lead of machine control system designs, working with cross:functional teams to execute complex engineering projects.: Document and share best practices to enable design improvements, reuse and maintenance.: Lead and participate in Design Reviews.: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external vendors and design services teams.: Understanding of electrical system development including wiring harnesses, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), embedded software, and regulatory testing (UL, IEC, EMC).: Application of appropriate industry s
